Festival lovers rejoice! This year it’s time for a brand new festival in Schiedam called: ‘Where We’ve Met‘. A two-day festival with a great lineup, right in the old city centre of Schiedam. And the best part… It’s totally free, no tickets required! We’ll perform on Friday, August 28th, so come and check us out people!
Great new show added people! On Saturday, September 5th we play in Alphen aan de Rijn at the ‘Alphen d’Huez Festival! The proceeds of this festival will be donated to the KWF (Dutch anti cancer chatiry), so come check us out! Besides our own performance, many great other bands will perform such as: Sue The Night, Sunday Sun and Mark Foggo!
Leute, wir sind wieder da! After the dazzling Germany tour, the time is right for Try Acrobatics hits on Dutch soil. On July 26, we play the Damaris Festival at the NDSM Werf in Amsterdam (on the new 2 Tracks stage). A great reason to come and join us at the NDSM Werf, but this time we have a more important reason as well… Unfortunately Jeroen has decided to focus on other musical challenges, so unfortunately this will be the last show with our hero on keys. We give away 5 free tickets for the first 5 festival enthusiasts who respond below in the comments. Check out the great lineup and see you soon at Damaris!
Our ‘DNA On Tour’ through Germany is looking great! (DNA = Dutch New Artists, the international talent program of the Herman Brood Music Academy). This is going to be an awesome road trip next Spring through the entire country of our friendly Eastern neighbors! Check out the shows that are already confirmed below. 4 more shows will follow / are “to be announced”. So stay tuned…
Next week Friday, January 16th we will be playing during the Eurosonic / Noorderslag weekend as the former winner of Art Rocks! in the Groninger Museum. In 2012 we won the first edition of this wonderful event with our song ‘Replica‘ which was inspired on the painting “La réproduction interdite” by René Magritte.
Also during this 2nd edition, Art Rocks! called upon bands and musicians from the Netherlands to write a song inspired by one of the works from the collections of the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen (Rotterdam), Centraal Museum Utrecht or the Groninger Museum. Next to the seven finalists, Art Rocks ambassadors Eefje de Visser and Akwasi will also perform. More info can be found on www.artrocks.nl.
See you next week in Groningen!
